Enviro-Clean | Recycling
Enviro-Clean does not accept household alkaline batteries (AAA, AA, C, D, 9V).
These batteries do not contain mercury and can be discarded in household trash.
Enviro-Clean is a service provided by St. Croix Electric Cooperative. Local residents can drop-off their recyclable electronic materials at the Cooperative office in Hammond during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). The listed fees cover some of the expense associated with recycling and do not generate money for the Cooperative.
Items eligible for drop-off include:
|SCEC collects unwanted smartphones, cell phones and tablets. Collected items are recycled and funds are donated to Operation Gratitude, a non-profit organization that uses the funds to hep provide care packages to soldiers, veterans and first responders. St. Croix Electric Cooperative reserves the right to limit quantities.
