Full Load Control expected
According to SCEC's generation and transmission cooperative Dairlyand Power, given the extreme weather conditions anticipated over the next several days Full Load Control events are likely to be issued this week due to anticipated peak demand conditions. Under these extreme weather conditions, DPC will commit to issuing the Everbridge notifications in advance of 12:00 p.m. to give cooperative staff and participating consumer members some additional time to make final preparations for an event. Control of residential Interruptible Heat begins at 5:00 p.m. during an FLC event.
Based on current load forecasts, the most prominent candidate days for FLC are Tuesday, January 29 and Wednesday, January 30.
Not more than two FLC events will be issued this week.
