OUTAGE: 5/08/2019

4:35 PM: The earlier outage was restored after cause was determined to be due to a tree falling on the line, HOWEVER another outage has occured affecting the same members. Due to reported high winds in the area, it is suspected to be the same cause. A crew has been dispatched to investigate and restore power once again. Thank you for your patience while our line crew works to restore your power.

OUTAGE: 5/7/2019

12:23 pm: All power has been restored. The cause of the outage is still being investigated.

11:54 am: After patrolling the affected line, SCEC crews will attempt to energize the circuit by 12:15 pm.

11:10 am: There is currently an outage affecting hundreds of members in the Town of Troy. At this point the cause is unknown, but crews are on-site investigating. Updates will be provided as available.

OUTAGE: 4/11/2019

OUTAGE UPDATE @ 3:15 pm: There is a tree on the line at County Road B and 50th Avenue causing the outage near the St. Croix-Pierce County line. A second crew with another bucket truck has been dispatched to cut the tree off the line. Restoral is estimated at  approximately 4 p.m..

Proposed bylaw changes make elections more economical & efficient

The St. Croix Electric Cooperative Board and Management Team are proposing several Bylaw revisions for adoption by the members at the Annual Meeting to be held Saturday, April 13 beginning at 9:35 a.m. in the Commons at St. Croix Central High School in Hammond.
Keeping in mind Cooperative Principle #2: Democratic Member Control, the amendments are intended to make it easier for members to run for and elect Directors, as well as streamlining the process to make it more economical and efficient.

2019 Election information

All three St. Croix Electric Cooperative Director incumbents whose terms are up in 2019 are running unopposed on the ballot, but there is once again a race in District 8 to fill out the term vacated by Derrick Oberle, who was elected to his fourth term in 2018.

OUTAGE: 3/29/2019

At approximately 10:20 a.m. on Friday, March 29 a St. Croix Electric Cooperative member dropped a tree through the line on their property leaving nearly 100 members in the Towns of Kinnickinnc and Troy temporarily without power. Power was restored by 11 a.m. for all but two members.

82nd Annual Meeting set for April 13

St. Croix Electric Cooperative's 82nd Annual Meeting of members will be held Saturday, April 13 at St. Croix Central High School in Hammond with breakfast being served from 8-9:30 AM and the meeting beginning at 9:35 AM.

March 14 outage update

Flooding as the result of culverts jammed by ice caused an outage leaving approximately 225 St. Croix Electric Cooperative members without electricity in the morning hours of Thursday, March 14.
