UPDATED OUTAGE: 11/01/2018

UPDATED @ 11:33AM: All power has been restored.

More than 100 members in the town of Hudson are currently without power. The cause is suspected to be a small animal. Restoration estimate is 11:30 am.

St. Croix Electric Cooperative (and all other businesses and residences with 796 exchanges) are once again unable to make or receive calls outside landlines with 796, 684 or 698 exchanges (Hammond, Baldwin and Woodville).

Grant application deadline Oct. 29

At their June meeting, St. Croix Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors allocated $6,963 to 27 local organizations via its Commitment to Community grant program and it’s nearly time to review the next round of applications: The deadline is Monday, Oct.

If you need immediate assistance please call our 800-924-3407 line to speak with someone at the Cooperative Response Center.
At this time we do not know what the problem is or when it will be restored.

OUTAGE: 10/12/2018

At approximately 8:30 am on Friday, Oct. 12 a St. Croix Electric Cooperative member who was digging a hole to bury a horse hit a three-phase power line, leaving approximately 100 members without service for about an hour. Power was restored by 9:30 am. Please remember to CALL 811 BEFORE YOU DIG!

UPDATE: Outages: 10/03/2018

UPDATE @ 9:45PM: Martell (southeastern) outage will be  on within an hour -  another truck was needed to fix the problem.

UPDATE @ 8:51PM: All but one member has been restored in the Town of St. Joseph. Southeastern outage restoral underway. Crew moving to Town of Troy.

OUTAGES: 9/20/2018

UPDATE @ 9:20PM: Crew is onsite at County road E outage. Estimated 15-20 minutes for restoration of power.

UPDATE @ 9:05PM: Power has been restored to approximately 300 members in Warren. Crew en route to address outage caused in Town of Hammond on County Road E; ETA 20 minutes.

UPDATED: DrivEV Weekend winners announced

Four lucky members will take St. Croix Electric Cooperative’s 2018 Chevrolet Bolt EV, a fully electric vehicle, out for a spin (or two or three …) for a whole weekend in October!

8/27/2018 Storm Outages

7:55 PM: Power has been restored along Cove Road in the southwestern corner of SCEC territory. The SCEC crew is now en route to the northeastern corner. No estimated time of restoral at this time.
