Pilot Scott Wooge contacted us today on his way here from St. Louis and said conditions will NOT be favorable for the Inflation & Tethered Rides on Friday, BUT tomorrow afternoon will be nearly PERFECT so ...

The event is now

Thursday, Feb. 3 from 2-5 pm!

Here are some additional details: 

• Our building is closed to the public, but there will be a port-a-potty onsite.
• Check-in will be in the front vestibule. Please follow signs - you will enter from the north side, check in, sign a waiver, be assigned your ride # and exit through the south side to the parking lot.
• We will have coffee & hot chocolate and a special treat available while they last in the southwest corner of the parking lot. SCEC Member Services Team members will also be on-hand to discuss with you the Energy Solutions and other services we offer.
• Please dress for the weather! Although the WIND conditions will be favorable for the event, it is still going to be COLD ... and depending on how many people show up you could be outside for an extended period of time.

We apologize for the "last minute" change, but that is the nature of hot air balloons ... it's all weather-dependent and our pilot and YOUR safety come first!
