Through the Community Cents program, members can round up their energy bills to the next dollar amount, and the extra change is combined with designated grant funding to go toward helping those in need, right here in our community.
Twice a year – in June and November – the SCEC Board of Directors reviews eligible applications from group and organizations seeking to serve the unmet humanitarian, social and educational needs within our general service area.
Each application is reviewed and considered on its individual merits. The funds available and the number of grant applications received may impact the amount of the grant awards and the number of applications funded. Grant awards shall not exceed $500 per organization per calendar year.
